I received this book in exchange for my honest review. Dare calls off their relationship due to his former step daughter acting up she tells Adam how she feels n they spend an incredible weekend together than Dare sends flowers n comes by himself and said it was a mistake n he wants to continue their relationship she tells Adam some stuff at the cliffhanger that's is surprising to him too good
This is part 2 in the series and Adam is making his move on Ashley letting her know how he feels and what he want. Ashley doesn’t want to let go of Dare either but there are issues with his ex step daughter coming back, looking forward to finding out what happens next. I would recommend reading in order. The story is fast paced with lots of drama and steamy sex it also ends on a cliff hanger. Looking forward to finding out what happens next.
Ashley has some trouble with Dare’s stepdaughter Helen coming back into Dare’s life. Look like she is trying to cause distress to Dare and Ashley’s budding relationship.
Adam makes his move on Ashley and shows her he is attracted to her and knows she is the One. *Fans self*
Dare seems to be conflicted with where he wants his relationship with Ashley to go and he is worried about what is wrong with his stepdaughter.
Looking forward to more Dare, Ashley and Adam. I love this love triangle.

I voluntarily reviewed this advanced readers copy of this book I got from Netgalley and it was amazing just like the fist one!
Ashley keeps pursuing his relationship with dare and she is almost certain that she wants more, one month is not enough and her fellings might be stronger than she had planned.
But with Helen in the middle things get complicated and she founds herself with Adam.
He is what she has always wanted but she wants both.
Amazing sex scenes, the characters have the same perfect chemistry as in the first book and you can't help to sympathise with her need for both men. So different, still so alike.
I am giving Opal Carew book My Best Friend's Stepfather part two 5 stars. The reason I am giving this book that rating is because the Author jumps right into the good stuff. I knew there was a reason why Helen Ashley best friend and Dare Stepdaughter was being such a b***h to Ashley. It turns out Helen has some strong feelings for her ex stepfather and they are the kind where she wants to be his wife kind of feelings, so of course Helen feels like Ashley standing in the way for her to be with her daddy. And poor Ashley is starting to fall in love with Dare, but what does he go and do he dumps poor Ashley for Helen because even though he doesn't want his stepdaughter like that. He also knows Helen has no one else but him because it turns out Helen mom is one B***h her self. Book two gets into some more really good stuff like Ashley coming to realize that she not only loves Dare but she also loves Adam. So lets see who Ashley chooses in book three. I know I can't wait to find out who it will be hey maybe it might be both lol. I am so loving this series!!!
book 2 of the trilogy—Adam makes his move on Ashley. Letting her know how he feels. At the same time, Ashley has problems with Dare’s ex step daughter coming back on the scene causing trouble with them. There is definitely chemistry between Adam, Dare and Ashley but with Dare’s step daughter back on the scene—something is definitely up with her and her “daddy” talk. We, as the readers, get to know more about Adam and can I say, I like it and him. But back to Dare’s step daughter--I get a BADDD feeling there. This book is too short and ends in a cliffhanger. I would have liked it a little longer but book 3 is coming up and hoping all my answers will be forthcoming. Ashley has 2 men wanting her and the steam factor is OFF THE CHARTS but as I did mention, this was tooo short, needed a little more by way of story. Hopefully book 3 will have that because I need more in the way of the MC for this is an awesome story and I crave more. I would have given this a 5 star but due to the length, gave it a 4.5 star rating.

Short stories that get right to the point. Easy to follow and keeps me intrigued . Can't wait for the final book next Tiesday.
